Inert material recycling experts
Inert material is a construction or demolition waste which does not undergo any significant chemical, physical or biological transformations. These materials do not dissolve, burn or react in a way likely to give rise to environmental pollution or harm to human health. These qualities make inert materials ideal for construction. At our recycling plant, construction waste is first treated and then converted into recycled aggregate. Our recycling plant is operated under the permit (EPR/KB3997TQ) granted by Natural Resources Wales.
Strong Foundations & Sub-Bases
Type 1 – 40-Dust
Type 1 is a strong, compactable aggregate commonly used to create a solid sub-base for driveways, patios, pathways, roads and hardstanding areas. Once compacted, it provides a stable foundation that helps support the finished surface above. It is a practical choice for both domestic and commercial groundwork projects where strength and durability are important.
Bulk Fill & Ground Preparation
6F5 – 80-Dust
6F5 is a larger recycled aggregate often used for bulk fill, site preparation, ground raising and construction bases. It is particularly useful where areas need to be built up, levelled or strengthened before further works begin. This material is well suited to larger groundwork and construction projects where a reliable, heavy-duty base is required.
Levelling & Paving Preparation
Stone Dust – 8-Dust
Stone Dust is a fine aggregate commonly used for levelling, bedding and finishing surfaces. It is often used beneath slabs, block paving, paths and paved areas to help create a smooth, even base.
Drainage & Construction Use
Clean Stone – All Sizes
Clean Stone is available in a range of sizes and is suitable for drainage, pipe bedding, landscaping and general construction work. As it is free from fine dust and smaller particles, it allows water to drain through more easily.
Gardens & Landscaping
Topsoil – 10-0
Topsoil is a screened soil suitable for gardens, turfing, planting areas and landscaping projects. It can be used to improve outdoor spaces, create new lawn areas, fill borders or prepare ground for planting.
